On February 8, 2011 Dallas, TX rapper Dorrough, best known for his 2009 hit “Ice Cream Paint Job”, had his Texas home invaded by the DEA.
“Although the home of the Dallas, TX native is lavish and complimented with vehicles to match, the DEA found no evidence and could not make an arrest after an elaborate investigation which may have been stereotype driven,” says the Texas native’s spokesperson. “All they found were gold and platinum plaques on the walls. Dorrough is anxious to get back in the studio to work and make more hits.”
Dorrough took to Twitter yesterday to vent about the situation saying, “My day started off fucked up… Which means today will be a great day!” No official word from authorities has been given. Stay tuned as details emerge—Nicole LoPresti
