As previously reported, the embattled rapper was cuffed in Cleveland, Ohio last December for assaulting two police officers and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $25,000.
Hamilton was finally released on bail on Wednesday, Jan. 26., according to court reports. He was referred to a psychiatric clinic on Jan. 4 and will still face a mental health evaluation.
This is not the first time Hamilton will be facing psychiatric evaluation. The “Brooklyn Girls” rapper checked himself into New York Presbyterian Mental Hospital last summer.
“All I wanted to do and still want to do is make music,” he explained to Bossip of the hospital stay. “It got to the point where I started talking in rhymes all the time, even in just regular conversations. And music just became me, so I thought it’d be a good idea if I checked into the hospital just to get my mind right.” —Henry Adaso
