Soulja Boy is taking a page out of the Kanye West playbook.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the ATLien complained about losing the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Rap Song to Yeezy. As fans remember SB’s hit “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” was nominated in the category, but Mr. West took home the honors for his T-Pain featured single, “Good Life.”

“[I] should have got the Grammy,” he told the AP.

Thinking optimistically, Soulja recorded the song, “Grammy” on his latest release, The Deandre Way, in a plea to win something the next time he’s eligible. (Since his disc came out on November 30, 2010, he missed the September 30 cut off date for this year’s ceremony).
