After a brief hiatus from Twitter, Kid Cudi returned to the popular social networking site under a new moniker (@WizardCud) and announced plenty of new projects that he has in the works.

For the first order of business the G.O.O.D. Music artist revealed that he will be dropping a mixtape that will showcase his skills as a rapper. “[N]ew mixtape “a man named scott,” he wrote. “[T]hats this summah. [F]or all those who fucks with my raps, this is for u since ima be all rocked out with the wizard shit. also its free! yes!

In addition to the tape, Cudder is also working on a rock album for this Summer with his band Wizard. “[W]izard is a rock album, no raps, just singing,” he said. “[B]rand new thing. [F]lavor. [D]ose of dopeness however will be on the wizard album as a bonus jam. [B]out fuckin time aye. [I’]ve been wearin the same jeans for months, and I feel good about that dedication.”

The 2009 XXL Freshman also said he’s been working on songs with Jay-Z and Kanye for their Watch the Throne album, and plans to drop his short film for "Maniac" with Cage and Shia LaBeouf later this year. He will also start filming the second season of the HBO show, How to Make it in America in March. —Elan Mancini
