Yo Gotti Surrenders to Authorities on Riot Charge [UPDATE]

Yo Gotti turned himself into authorities yesterday afternoon (December 13), after a warrant was issued for his arrest for an aggravated assault charge over Thanksgiving weekend.

As previously reported, Memphis police say a fight broke out between Gotti and fellow M-Town MC OG Boo Dirty at local nightclub, Level II, on November 29. A third person stepped in, and then later gunshots were fired resulting in five people being shot.

"[Yo Gotti] is not an advocate of violence by any means," Gotti’s lawyer Murray Wells told Memphis newspaper The Commercial Appeal. "At the end of the day we're confident his name is going to be cleared."
