Jadakiss Preps I Love You Mixtape

Joining the ranks of Rick Ross, B.o.B, Tech N9ne and now Talib Kweli, Jadakiss is prepping the release of a new mixtape for the holiday season.

Earlier today the Yonkers MC took to Twitter to announce that he is currently working on a new tape, called I Love You. “New mixtape! I love U…almost finished 10 new songs/freestyles…appreciation for my fans/followers! Love,” he wrote.

I Love U will be the follow up to his DJ Green Lantern and DJ Drama hosted The Champ is Here 3, from last May.

As of press time, there is no official release date for the disc. —Kai Acevedo

I’m sure the mixtape will be better than the album…again. Def Jam needs to release like 10,000 copies of the mixtape or something. That man should get paid for those mixtapes. Waaaay better than the albums.

Yeah I feel you. I love Jada’s mixtapes because there always fire. So are the albums I think too many fans expect his albums to be as raw and street as his mixtapes. Anytime a rapper is on a major lable there’s no way he’s gonna not have lots more commercial street flavor than a fan might want to listen to. It’s give and take with the major’s. You always have to sacrifice. The mixtapes is the only outlet where you can totally do whatever the fuck you want

I agree with this but I always ask why do these rappers stay in the major label system I think artist like Jada, Ghost etc could better benefit from being Independent. Raekwon is perfect example the artistic freedom he had allowed him to create a great album.
