Recently footage of Funkmaster Flex surfaced on YouTube, where he made some disparaging comments about 2Pac. The Hot 97 DJ addressed the comments on his show last night (November 22), but ’Pac associates, the Outlawz still have a bone to pick with the voice of New York. XXLMag.com spoke to Fatal Hussein, E.D.I. Mean and Young Noble earlier today to find out their response to FMF’s statements.

To bring readers up to speed, in the clip in question, Flex shouts out: “Fuck niggas suckin’ 2Pac's dick, I don't suck 2Pac's dick! Make some noise if you miss fucking Biggie Smalls!" [Watch below]

In his statement on the air last night, Flex clarified his comment in the YouTube video. "Not only do I respect [’Pac’s] music, I respect what he put down,” he said. “I respect what he made happen, the records he made, the records he sold, and I know how passionate he was about his music. I also think that he brought a negative energy into the game with the beefing and the erratic energy and the threats....Everybody can say what they wanna say, dude didn't have no good energy towards me. He repeatedly said it, and I can't support that everything that people say about him, because I feel like that he brought a lot of negativity, and brought changes in the game that we now live with now and that's just the way I feel."

As far as the Outlawz are concerned, Flex is a hypocrite. “What he was saying on stage that night that was stirring up more of that negative energy,” E.D.I. explained, “so I don’t know what he was trying to accomplish by doing that. I really feel like he was just playin' to the crowd…because you can’t say you don’t like his negative energy when that’s all you doing is stirring it back up.”

Fatal wasn’t as nice with his response. “Who cares about what Flex says,” the rapper told XXL. “He’s a fucking mut, his drivin’ shit was weak, he look like a fat midget with lil' titties, nobody cares about him.”

Stay tuned to XXLMag.com for the entire interview with the Outlawz, where they talk more about their issues with Funkmaster Flex.
