Young Jeezy’s ‘TM103′ Pushed Back to December 14

Young Jeezy has had a tough time motivating the thugs this year. The third installment of his Thug Motivation series, TM103, has been facing delays ever since last year, but reps for Def Jam have confirmed with XXLMag.com that the disc will finally hit shelves on December 14.

The Atlanta-based rapper already dropped several singles from the album—“Jizzle,” “All White Everything” featuring Yo Gotti and “Lose My Mind” featuring Plies—to little fan fare.

On September 29, he dropped his latest mixtape with DJ Folk, titled The Last Laugh. The 12-track project features several songs produced by longtime collaborator Shawty Redd.

TM103 follows up Jizzle’s near platinum-selling 2008 effort The Recession. —Elan Mancini

MAN IMMA B ST8T THAT NIGGA ROSS SUCK HARD I DON’T KNOW WHAT PEOPLE LIKE ABOUT HIM I DON’T CARE WHAT PPL SAY ERBODY SLEEP ON JEEZY AND HE IS THE BEST RAPPER OUT THE HANDS DOWN NO BODY CAN HOLD YO BOY HE IS SICK ON THAT MIC AND THATS REAL TALK…

@pr0b I was thinking the same thing. I like the work shawty Redd has done in the past but lately with these tracks…its weak. I see that Jeezy is trying to come up with a new sound…I can understand that. But the truth is the songs “Jizzle” and “All White Everything” is missing something. It sounds a little off. It sounds flat…it doesn’t have that knock that I’m used to. Jeezy need to go back to that whispering in in the kitchen cause the walls is listening. rap flow. Ross just straight jacked the BMF/ATL drug music scene. lol Jeezy fell off his square.

heard he got robbed in columbus this weekend….

Jeezy’s done. All White Everything is not exactly an original idea, at all. Jizzle, well, I gave him props for bringing back Lil Jon, but then I heard the track. #Fail. And when Plies, of all people, murders you on our own shit, it’s time to call the quits.
As for 1000 Grams, if your name is not Wayne, you can’t jack for beats anymore. Mr. 17.5 has become an artist that I skip when Eskay posts one of his exclusives. As far as drug shit, I’m even checking for Yo Gotti before Jizzle. That’s saying something. He did wreck that Unforgettable track on Drizzy’s album though. I give him that.

I think a lot of people are missing the point here…..

    DEF JAM IS IN TURMOIL!!!!

If Jeezy has half a brain (and I think he does) he is currently seeking a exodus. Def Jam is no longer the home of hip-hop. Something is happening there that is upending their business model. You could put that on leadership or whatever, but if you have an artist of Jeezy’s caliber (that sold a lot of records), the best and most beneficial thing to your company is to get that artist back out into the market as quickly as possible. Def Jam is moving like molasses going uphill in winter.

    Just last week Nas complained.

Look for Jeezy to bolt. Either after this album or before. Trust me, it is being politicked.

    • getbizzy

Jeezy n Ludacris are the only southern breadwinners Dej Jam got!!!

they tried to make something outta Rick Ross the last two albums but that obviously fail. RIP Def Jam

    • M. Baby!

I agree…Def Jam was known as that label to have the real Hip-Hop artist…now they’re transitioning into a label that just wants to compete & slowly make music like the Drake’s, Waka Flocka’s, & Gucci Mane’s. They wanna dumb down their music. Jeezy probably had to play the game and give them at least a couple of trendy songs…and that’s sad an artist of his caliber should have to do that. Nas had to send a letter and Lupe Fiasco had to snap somebody’s neck to get them to let his album be released, but they’ll hurry up and drop an artist like Waka Flocka…sad. I can’t wait for TM 103. And whoever said Jeezy don’t need to go back to Shawty Redd, kill yaself. Shawty Redd’s style and Jeezy’s flow is the reason why he blew…just magic. I think Jeezy is really gonna get outta his Def Jam deal and roll with Hov @ RocNation. That’ll be some crazy ish right…

  • El Tico Loco

A few years back Jeezy couldn’t do no wrong now look at ya’ll. Fairweather fans, bandwagon jumping ass niggas, that’s why I say Gucci, Waka or whoever’s hot now need to invest for a rainy day, because one wrong step and they will be the subject of a similar article and comments like this in the future.

man fuck wut niggas talkin bout. I’m still riding wit Jeezy. every nigga who’s anybody in the game has at least put out one less than favorable single or project. I’m not gon lie, Jeezy next album probably ain’t up to par because of some political bs goin on w/DEF JAM. Jigga, Nas, Em, and 50 have put out at least one bullshit album, and that’s just to name a few cats who’ve done so. Jeezy will bounce back, and all the niggas talkin down will hop right back on the bandwagon shit. SMH.
P.S. I will say though, that each record made by him from this point on, needs to be undeniably hot.

If you were to come to Miami when Jeezy is here then you would see that he’s more popular then ever. Thug’s don’t report to BDS or sound-scan so what the f*ck do the labels know. Haha.

Link up Jeezy. We can make it happen.
