It's been unclear what will happen to T.I. ever since the rapper was arrested last month on drug charges, seemingly breaking his probation on a much publicized 2009 federal gun conviction. But the speculation may all come to a close in eleven days, as tmz.com reported today (October 3) that Tip will have appear in front of a judge on October 15.

The Atlanta-bred superstar will be given the chance to plead his case so as not to get his probation revoked and return to jail.

As previously reported, there are three possible instances where T.I. violated his probation, including associating with a convicted felon, possession of ecstasy and testing positive for opiates.

The Southern superstar’s label, Atlantic Records, has yet to comment on how Tip’s legal troubles will affect the release of his forthcoming album King Uncaged, scheduled to hit stores this year. —Elan Mancini
