To commemorate the launch of a new line of Beats by Dre products, select fans were treated to a concert by two of Dr. Dre’s Interscope signees, Soulja Boy and Keri Hilson yesterday afternoon (September 30),.

Soulja took to the stage first, and gave his screaming fans to a quick but effective set. Beginning with last year’s hit “Turn My Swag On,” the ATL-raised sensation then went into the Boi-1da-produced “Speakers Going Hammer,” which is the latest single from The DeAndre Way. SB closed out his time with his first and still biggest hit, “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” at the end of which he threw out money into the crowd [Watch Below].

Held at the Best Buy Theater in New York City’s Times Square (formerly the Nokia Theater), the early evening performances took place shortly after a conference held by Jimmy Iovine and Dre to announce the release of the next generation of Beats by Dre products. Included in the new line are the Beatbox (an iPod dock), Powerbeats (sports headphones designed with LeBron James’ help), Beats Pro (high end headphones), iBeats (headphones for iPad, iPod and iPhone) and JustBeats (headphones aimed at a younger audience).
