It seems that Snoop Dogg is the next artist in line to record a sequel to his debut album.

Snoop confirmed yesterday (September 1) via a video posted on Swizz Beatz’s twitter account that he is working with the super producer on a follow up to his classic 1993 album. “The album is Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary,” Snoop said in the video. “Be on the lookout for it you bitches.” [Watch below]

The Cali native said that he and Swizz had recorded 18 tracks already, and that the New York producer had given him a wide range of heat. “Motherfucker gave me some gangsta shit, some Crip shit, some R&B shit, some hip-hop shit, some hard shit, some mean shit,” he said. Kanye West, pictured below, was also in the studio.

Snoop performed at Rock The Bells over the weekend and recently released the compilation, Snoop Dogg Presents: My #1 Priority in July. —Adam Fleischer
