This Wednesday (September 22), fans in the New York area will be able to check out Asher Roth for free live at Brooklyn Bowl.
The former XXL Freshman will be hitting the stage at 8PM inside of the BK bowling alley/performance space and the evening will be sponsored by Hennessy and hosted Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg and Angie Martinez. This is one of three Hennessy-sponsored New York events, which will conclude with a private, invite-only finale concert on October 14. The October 14 show will be co-curated by Q-Tip and The Roots, and fans attending any of the initial three shows will have a chance at tickets for the final event.
This is 21 and over event, and general admission to each of events can be accessed by joining the Hennessy Facebook community.
Later this week, XXLMag.com will be giving away a pair of VIP passes to watch Asher rock on Wednesday.
Roth is currently preparing for the release of his sophomore album, The Spaghetti Tree, which will feature collaborations with Nottz, Game, Pharrell, DJ Khalil, Ryan Leslie, Don Cannon, Oren Yoel and more. —Adam Fleischer
