Travis Barker Enlists Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake & More for Solo Album

Travis Barker has a solo album coming this fall and the Blink 182 drummer—known for his hard-hitting, hip-hop remixes over the last several years—has recruited quite a star-studded line-up. has learned that the as-of-yet untitled album will features guest spots from Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake, T.I., Game, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, Rza, Lupe Fiasco, Rick Ross, Bun, B, Beanie Sigel, Clipse, Yelawolf, The Cool Kids and many more.

Barker not only played drums, but also is produced on all the tracks. As of press time the album is set for an October release. —Elan Mancini

Looking forward to the Drake, Em, Wayne, Tip, Bun, Lupe, & Ross joints. Now all he need to do is get Kanye on there, and I’ll prolly definitely buy it

Normally I don’t fuck with rockers. But almost all the rockers have dope drummers. So I might fuck with this. Just to see…. Tommy Lee was a huge disappointment. But this cat doesn’t seem like Tommy Lee. I might fuck with this.

What are you talking about? I’m pretty sure em is white and he’s pretty much the best that’s still relevant in the hip hop game. I’m not even white and even i know your just a ignorant wannabe rascist thug. Get a fucking brain to fill your oversized head.

      • staff

    • Staff is a Fag

Em is one of the best rappers out in the game. Your ignorant commment has no foundation because you have nothing to back up your opinion. You can only respond with racist comments.

Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye, Talib Kwali, Immortal Technique, Dr. Dre, Krs-One, and many many more have said em is one of the best and brought the rap game to a new level.

And Travis Barker’s remixes of hip hop songs are orignial and great sounding.

You my friend our probably a dirt poor black man, who smokes crack, misses all his job interviews and blames the white man for all your own faults. SLAVERY ENDED OVER 300 YEARS AGO….Get over it!!!!!!!

I’m Hispanic by the way…so if you want to insult me…I want to hear your witty remarks on the Hispanic Community. Enjoy your watermelon and fried chicken bitch!!!

    • RedBlue

Haha yeah more white boys,i hope it really does make you sick.Em is back to no.1 spot on Billboard…aww you must really hate that.Haha^^

    • Coolin

I am willing to bet everything I have that Staff doesn’t have a job. Let alone a car or much else. Hahahahaha loser!

  • Juke

Damn that’s a lot of emcees on one album and there’s more?

I’ll check it out, I wanna hear RZA.

  • Face Phoenix

He’s been doing his thing at least since Bun B’s “Trill” and I like most of his Rock Remixes so why not? It might be the sleeper of 2010.

  • JD

Ummm, am I the only one that noticed that they said his first solo album? He has enough featured artists on here that he will probably not even have a single track that he does solo. Maybe he should call it Travis Barker and Friends. In my opinion this is not a solo album it is a collaboration album.

    • nosnhor

JD, this is not english class we dont need your smart ass opinion….who cares what he said this is gonna be fuckin great i think im the most excited one on here i love everything that comes from travis, his punk, rock, hip-hop, whatever its all great and genius, and not to mention he got one of the hottest clothing line ever, i bet no one would have ever seen all this coming when they saw that punk ass white boy drummin to all the small things back in the day……………do your thing trav, “im down with the Famous Family till the day i die, thats why i got Forever tatted down my side……..”—-nosnhor

      • freshyboi

“one of the hottest clothing lines ever”

LOL!!!LOL, i hope your friends clown on you for getting a Famous tattoo,

        • nosnhor

yea one of the hottest ever, i smell hater in the air

        • Polzin

          (Before the immature arguing started)

The way I see it, there hasn’t been a solo album in forever that was completely the artists work. Hardly anyboy makes their own beats, and nobody makes the beats for their entire album. So if Travis is making all of the instrumentals, which is half of it, its as much of a solo album as any lyricist that uses none of their own beats.

Not to get off topic, but Khaled doesn’t deserve an album. Travis Barker, go ahead.

    • Cerebus

How many rappers produce all their own beats? How many rappers release albums with zero collaborations. By your logic 95% of every rap album ever released should be called “Somebody and Friends”. Get outta here with your no sense makin’ semantics. It’s a Travis Barker solo album because he’s the executive producer, co-producer of the tracks and the person who’s tight enough with all this hip-hop heads to invite them for a guest spot. Duh!

I gotta say, while looking through hundreds of blogs each week, the theme of this blog is different (for all the appropriate reasons). If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the name of this theme or could it be a tailor made affair? It’s better compared to themes I personally use for some of my blogs ;-)
