T.I. & Swizz Beatz Wed Longtime Girlfriends

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys tied the knot this Saturday (July 31) in the Mediterranean islands. Not to be outdone, T.I. married longtime girlfriend Tiny not once, but twice over the weekend.

Beatz and Keys’s ceremony took place in front of friends Queen Latifah and U2’s Bono according to the New York’s Daily News. Tip and Tiny first exchanged vows in Miami on Friday (July 30) before a second ceremony on Saturday. The couple who have been on and off for eight years and have two kids together, reportedly planned a third ceremony in Las Vegas that never came to fruition. —Calvin Stovall

    Good to see ppl getting married even if Swizz stole my girl. As for T.I. what man wants to pay for 3 Ceremonies… that had to be Tiny’s Idea. That just struck me as overkill. I mean one wedding is expensive for anyone not hitting Las Vegas or a City Hall but 3? Maybe Tip talked her out of the third one. I just can’t see the since in that madness but if it’s for a woman you love – hey I guess that’s a small price to give her what she wants. I just can’t see myself in his place without rolling my eyes while saying under my breath “This is Crazy.”.

    It’s great to see us get married and raise families with both parents. We have gotten away from that. We thrived on families, that was a way for us to get ahead, especially during the times of slavery. Families were separted and sold individually. Back then families wanted to stay together. Now that drugs and liquor stores on every corner have brainwashed us, we have fell into their trap. We have babies by girls we don’t know and leave. We gotta be put on child support to take care of kids…what’s going on in the world. Getting married is a beautiful thing, you can try to get every girl in the world, or die tryin, lol.
