This weekend, Lil Wayne again reached out to his fans and supporters through a letter written from prison.

In his fifth letter correspondence from jail, Weezy said that although sometimes the days go by slowly, he’s doing his best to stay positive. “Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever,” he wrote. “I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally.” He also spoke on how he’s been spending some recreational time, joking that he had just “kicked ass” in Uno and stating that he has been working out a lot.

The Young Money president, in what was his shortest letter, also told people to be on the look out for The Nino Brown Story Pt. 3, and I Am Not A Human Being, his upcoming EP set to drop on his birthday, September 27.

As always, Wayne rounded out his letter by showing love to his fans and shouting many of them out individually in a lengthy laundry list of personalized thank yous.

Currently at Rikers Island stemming from a conviction on a 2007 gun possession charge, Lil Wayne is scheduled to be released on November 4, but may free as early as October. He began his sentence on March 8.—Adam Fleischer
