Juelz Santana Arrested for Driving Infraction & Quickly Released, Rep Says

Earlier this morning, Juelz Santana revealed that he was facing some trouble with the authorities, tweeting, “A! SMFH Jus got locked up!” XXLMag.com contacted a rep for the Harlem rapper, who says that it was simply a misunderstanding.

“Juelz Santana was arrested this AM after being pulled over in his Bentley for talking on a cell phone while driving,” Lynn K. Hobson, the Dipset member's spokesperson, told XXLMag.com. “He was then taken into custody for driving without his license. Old warrants that had not completely cleared the system were also cleared. Juelz paid a few fines and was released immediately.”

Free of any charges, Santana is currently gearing up for a scheduled performance this Saturday, August 14, in Baltimore, Maryland at the city’s Crab Festival. —Adam Fleischer
