The Billboard 200 welcomed Bun B into its inner circle today, as the UGK rapper’s third solo album, Trill O.G., debuted at the No. 4 seat, with 40, 500 units sold in his first week, according to the Nielsen SoundScan.

Despite Bun’s impressive chart-standing, he still played second fiddle to the unstoppable Eminem. Recovery held tight at No. 2 seat this week after moving 152,100 discs in the last seven days. Inching closer to double platinum status, Shady has a total of 1,980,400 discs sold in seven weeks.

Under Bun at No. 5 is Rick Ross. The Miami Boss’ fourth solo album, Teflon Don, picked up an additional 39,400 in sales this go-round, making his three week tally stand at 278,800.Falling three spots to No. 8 is Drake. Consumers bagged up 31,200 copies of Thank Me Later this week, putting the Young Money star’s eight-week-total at 945,900, just arms reach of his first platinum plaque.

Rounding out the Top 40 are fellow ATLien’s B.o.B. and Big Boi. The Adventures of Bobby Ray slipped 11 slots to No. 32 this week, with 11,400 scans and Sir Luscious Left Foot…The Son of Chico Dusty fell to No. 36 with 10,000 in stats. Overall the 2009 XXL Freshman has 344,800 and the OutKast vet has 129,800 in sales. —Elan Mancini
