Murs loves to collaborate with other artists. Following up the release of his latest joint album with 9th Wonder, Fornever (the duo’s third LP together) in April, the independent Cali MC recently told XXLMag.com that he has three more group discs in the works, all set to come out on his Team Taco imprint.

The first is a rap album featuring him and fellow L.A. rapper Sick Jacken of underground latin group Psycho Realm. Murs describes the project as “straight hip-hop shit” and hopes to get beats from DJ Khalil, The Alchemist and Evidence. [Watch below]

Murs tells XXL that he also formed a light-hearted electro duo with West Coast producer Terrace Martin (Snoop Dogg, Warren G, DJ Quick). “It’s just clownin’—dick [and] pussy jokes,” he says of their work. “The first single is called ‘Hey White Boys, the Nigga’s are Back.’ So, just fun stuff like that.”

In addition, the underground vet has a rock record, but the status of that disc has yet to be determined since a member of the team has been injured. “I had a record with a punk rock band called Holy Bread and we have a group called The Invincibles and that was supposed to drop but it got kinda shaky,” he explained. “One of the kids in The Invincibles got shot…he still wanted to tour but it just would have been difficult.”

Release dates for any of the above mentioned albums have yet to be determined, but Murs promises that they will be the next three releases on Team Taco. Next up, look for Murs and 9th Wonder to hit the stage at this year’s Rock the Bells tour, set to kick off in San Bernandino’s NOS Events Center on Saturday, August 21. —Elan Mancini with reporting by Anslem Samuel
