CurrenSy gave New York City fans a night to remember last Friday (July 23) when he performed his new album, Pilot Talk, in its entirety at the Famous Factory show in Brooklyn’s Public Assembly.

The New Orleans Spitta rewarded the loyal fans that make up much of his Internet following with the once-in-a-lifetime performance, taking advantage of the Famous Factory’s intimate venue. After his laid-back performance, the Jets pilot interacted with fans signing everything from fitted caps to sneakers.

The third installment of the Famous Factory series, made possible by Sickamore and XXL, also included performances from Skyzoo, Big K.R.I.T, Laws, Emilio Rojas, Skotch Davis, Rich Hil and Dom Kennedy.

It was Kennedy’s first time performing in New York and the Cali-representative did not disappoint. The best Kennedy after Bobby won over the NYC crowd with mixtape favorites “1997” and “Watermelon Sundae” before passing the mic to Bedstuy’s Skyzoo, whose energetic set reminded everyone that they were indeed in Brooklyn.

Recent Def Jam signee Big K.R.I.T made a surprise appearance to perform his verse from the “Hold You Down (Remix)” along with Laws and Emilio Rojas.

Pilot Talk is in stores now and debuted on the Billboard’s Top 40 last week. Stay tuned for news on future Famous Factory events. —Calvin Stovall
