L'Chaim. T.I. has been named global creative consultant to Remy Martin on Tuesday (June 29).

The partnership between the cognac and the Grand Hustle artist will include collaborative projects and a focus on continuing the philanthropic works of Tip's K.I.N.G. Foundation.

“I’ve been a fan of Remy Martin for many years so I’m honored to be working with them as creative consultant,” the Atlanta-native said in a press release. “And now after my trip to Cognac [France], I admire the brand’s genius even more. I’m excited about all the possibilities of this partnership.”

“T.I. is a powerful voice in the entertainment world as a recording artist, actor and producer," Lamar Johnson, Remy Martin's director of marketing and branded entertainment, added.  "And Rémy Martin recognizes the similarities between the art of producing fine cognacs and blending music and words to create hit songs. Both crafts demand skill and attention. We are very pleased to partner with T.I. to build upon our successful ‘Things are Getting Interesting’ marketing campaign.”

On his recent appearance on Chelsea Lately, the King offered host Chelsea Handler a magnum of Remy Martin VSOP and announced that he’d be releasing his own signature blend of the cognac.
