Armageddon Says Terror Squad’s A “Wrap” [With XXclusive Video]

All good things come to an end. XXLMag.com recently caught up with Armageddon on the set of his new video for “It’s Over (Remix),” in Brooklyn and the original Terror Squad member said like the song, TS is done.

“The original Terror Squad is pretty much a wrap,” Geddy told XXL. “Joe kept the brand going. You know, I don’t know if you can regroup and form a new Terror Squad. We’re not Menudo, you can’t switch artists like that. But it’s still a brand and he does what he does with it.” [Watch below]

The remix to “It’s Over,” features TS bandleader Fat Joe and close associate N.O.R.E. Although the squad might not be what it once was, Geddy and Joey Crack have several more tracks coming.

    Armageddon and Pun were the best lyricists in the Squad. Too bad Joe is greedy and didnt push for Geddy to come out with his own album when Terror Squad was hot. If you dont believe he got skills like that, check out the Terror Squad album, Geddy owned it. Even better than Pun, which is crazy.

    It’s BEEN a wrap for TS. lol we dont need this nigga makin statements as if no one knew. Once Pun died that shit went south. I agree though, Geddy was one of the illest, but the powers that be didnt work in his favor, so now he stuck STILL grindin, shootin videos with NORE? WTF? NORE has been trash, the last decent shit he put out was Niggas on the run eatin, cus that melvin flint only had two good tracks and the rest was garbage. ah well, just my two cents

    I agree with Pun being the best in the squad. Then it was Remy and Cuban link. Cuban link was and still is fire just like Remy but they all suffered when the REAL leader died. Yeah joe Started the shit but Pun made people intrested in seeing what the crew was about but once he died Fat joe pulled a Diddy and made himself the biggest star in the squad. I know artist’s have to take responsibility for there own actions but why didn’t Fatjoe just like Diddy give that same kind of push behind his artist’s like he did for himself ?

      Pun is a legend no doubt but as he got fatter, his skills kind of declined. Go to YouTube and listen to “Pass the Glock” off that Terror Squad Album and get back at me. Getty owned that track, just telling it how it is.

    We are excited to have Armageddon as part of the label thru this single. We aren’t just executives, but fans of his work and want to continue pushing him forward. He is definitely top notch without any association period. In street terms… homie bodied that last verse. As for that NORE comment earlier, listen to the track. He has a fire lit himself.

    TS coulda been legendary, but with Fat Joe pulling a Diddy move, it became a wrap and Geddy was the second nicest in there then Remy (even tho a deep voice girl wearing a chain with the letters TS has a “crying game” feel to it). As far as the Nore comment you can’t have possibly heard him lately he’s been killing a lot people on their own shit “it’s over” being one of them.

    It was golden during those peak TS years. Was listening to “Pass the Glock”. Pun, Cuban, Prospect, Geddy, Seis, and Joe. That was a solid squadron. Glad they’re still doing stuff together.

      But the original Terror squad will always be better than any of gay-unit’s trash, sure gay-unit made themselves a lot of money, but their hip-hop music has taken this genre into the worst direction ever since the era of MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice and to compare them to death row records is an even more insulting.

      And joe did try to put tony sunshine’s album out, but the record labels shut him out.

      And prospect was the most laziest member ever, even if joe wasn’t writing his rhymes, prospect did nothing
      at least joe did one thing thank god and that’s take care of pun’s family, but liza shitted on pun on that DVD (if he was an abusive husband, leave him, do not stay with him for so long, plus she and pun were wasteful spenders.)
      and cuban is now terrible himself and after seeing his video of saying mysonne is the new notorious b.i.g., I Really no longer respect him.
      TS killed themselves and pun’s legacy should have died with pun, would have saved us all a lot of trouble.

    according to Joe he couldn’t get Geddy and Prospect out of the streets and into the studio to complete albums. who knows how true that is tho. i kinda believe Joe though, he did push Pun and Remy really hard and how many label deals did he get for Tony Sunshine? it’s not Joe’s fault if the music wasn’t there to actually get albums out for Tony, Joe did his part.

    i hope this Geddy album is hot, but after waiting 14 years there’s no way in hell for it to live up to expectations.

      The Big Pun reggaeton album? please, thank god fat joe isn’t releasing anymore of pun’s posthumous albums, because they would run the late pun’s legacy to the ground, just like pac and biggie.
