Game is in the clear. Instead of going to trial, the West Coast rapper has settled a lawsuit out of court stemming from an alleged incident during a basketball game in 2007, reports Southern California Public Radio, KUOR.

Although Game already served eight days in prison for the charges in 2008, the victim, Shannon Rodrick—who claims that The Doctor’s Advocate hit him and threatened him with a gun—filed a suit against the Aftermath MC seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.

While it is uncertain how much Game had to shell out, his attorney, Lonnie J. Brandon, says Rodrick and his lawyers agreed to more reasonable demands. —Brooklyne Gipson
