Recently reports hit the net that DJ A-Trak was working with Madonna on her upcoming album. A rep for Kanye West’s longtime DJ reached out to XXLMag.com to clear up the gossip.

“[The News is] definitely false,” Brendan Telzrow, A-Trak’s publicist at Biz3 Entertainment wrote in an email to XXL. “DJ Mehdi was joking around in an interview with Dummy magazine and said that, which started the whole thing.”

The young turntablist champion also took to his twitter to also address the fake reports. “Whatever happened to journalistic integrity,” he asked. “This Madonna rumor made it to MTV and NME. Now I feel like I need to make this record… haha.”

Besides working with Ye, A-Trak is credited with discovering XXL Freshman alum Kid Cudi, releasing his Day ‘N’ Night single on his Fool’s Gold label. —Elan Mancini
