Black Eyed Peas, Young Money & Eminem Remain in the Top 20

For their 31st week on the charts, the Black Eyed Peas continue to hold steady in the Top 10 on The Billboard 200.

The Peas’ latest offering The E.N.D. landed at No. 8 for the second week in a row. The group managed to sell 35,900 units, making their overall stats stand at 1,822,800, according to the Nielsen SoundScan.

Fives spots down is Lil Wayne’s crew, Young Money, who are perched at No. 13. The group’s debut album, We Are Young Money, pulled in an additional 26,000 in sales this week. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine and company have a total of 211,700 units after three weeks.

Also in his third week on top of the charts is Eminem. Since re-releasing his comeback LP—newly titled Relapse: Refill—the Detroit lyricist has jumped back into the top of the SoundScan report. This go-round, Shady sold 24,500, which takes his 34-week tally to 1,759,800.

Moving up one slot to No. 22 this week is Jay-Z. Fans copped 18,700 copies of The Blueprint 3 this sales cycle. After 32 weeks the Brooklyn legend has a complete sales figure of 1,533,400.

Fifteen places down at No. 37 and rounding out the top 40 is Atlanta trap rapper Gucci Mane with his major label debut The State vs. Radric Davis. In week five, Guch was able to sell 12,100 discs, which bumps his overall tally to 203,200. —Max G

Gucci, that fucking coon. He should be killed by firing squad along with all the coons out there.

    • HU

A coon firing squad is what the world needs. Imagine how much better things would be if we could slaughter Young Dro, Gucci Mane, Soulja Boy, Boosie, Hurricane Chris, New Boyz, etc. Hopefully dumb would no longer be cool and young blacks would stop getting tattoos on their necks.

  • General

Damn BEP seems unstoppable at this point…

How are that many people still buyin this CD weekly???

Obviously it was good move by Em and Interscope to repackage Relapse, cuz it gave them a sales bump late with no singles on radio or TV…

And Young Money has already passed Gucci Mane??? BURRRR

    • AZ40

  • What The ?

BEP’s sell because they are international, multiple races in the group plus a dirty broad that young dirties can relate too, they have dumb pop fans world wide, like I said last week I’m tired of seeing that picture on XXL it should be over on TMZ or some pop sites with Britney and Madonna not on a hip-hop site. I seen these fucks back at the Opera house in Toronto when they were wearing rags and break dancing in the crowd with the rest of us and actually rapping now there straight Pop, and remember these big groups have to split all that money unlike Hov and Em.

  • caino

Looking forward to Lupe & Luda this year!
