Jay-Z is on track to get his eleventh no. 1 album according to industry insider Hits Daily Double.
After the site has tabulated their one-day sales figures they have projected Hov’s latest project, The Blueprint 3, to sell anywhere between 300,000 to 350,000 in its first week. Originally set to be released on Friday, September 11, the anniversary of his first Blueprint album, the disc was moved up after it leaked prematurely on the internet.
Also set to make a big debut on The Billboard 200 next week is Wu-Tang standout Raekwon. The Chef’s follow up to 1995’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, is projected to move around 55-60,000 CDs. OB4CL2 currently holds the no. 1 spot on the iTunes’ Top Albums list.
