Jay-Z’s Bodyguard Charged After Incident With Paparazzi

Jay and Beyonce’s bodyguyard was charged just one day after footage picturing him tussling with members of the paparazzi, leaked on the internet. [Watch below]

According to nme.com, the bodyguard was hired to protect Hov and Bey during their vacation in Croatia. A scuffle ensued between the man and a photographer who was following the stars as they walked through the streets of Dubrovnik.

The photographer made a statement to police after the incident and police are now trying to identify and locate the bodyguard.

Jay is currently prepping the release of his new disc, The Blueprint 3, for a September 11 release. The album will feature appearances from Drake, Kid Cudi, Swizz Beatz , Alicia Keys, J. Cole, Young Jeezy, Pharrell, Kanye West and Rihanna, who both appear on his latest single, “Run this Town.” The clip for the song leaked on the ‘net last night.

Jay will be performing three dates overseas after the LP drops, including stops in Old Trafford (09/12), Glasgow (09/16) and London’s Wembley Stadium (09/18). -Elan Mancini

    In related news, court papers were filed by Shawn Carter d/b/a Jay-Z, to sue a manicurist for a fungal infection on his left ring finger.
