Eminem’s Relapse 2 Not Dropping on November 17

Rumors hit the ‘net earlier this morning (August 21) that Eminem’s Relapse 2 LP would be released on November 17.

XXLMag.com has learned otherwise. According to Em’s longtime manager and business associate Paul Rosenberg, there is no truth to the November 17 date whatsoever, despite the fact that amazon.com has it posted on its website.

Relapse 2 follows up Shady’s album of the same name that dropped last May. Since landing in stores the highly anticipated album has gone on to sell 1,361,700 copies.

This isn’t the only rumor that has found its way onto the Internet about Em. Earlier this week false accounts of the Detroit lyricist’s death were found on Yahoo News and Twitter.

As of press time there is no official date for Relapse 2. –Max G

    I’m looking forward to Relapse 2, but it’s still an Aftermath release so there’s no telling when it’ll really be out. I no longer pay attention to release dates from ANY label.

        Its apparent you didn’t get the concept of the album. Its entertainment. His album wasn’t supposed to relate to anyone? All music isn’t about relating to the listeners. His album was more like story telling. Again, ENTERTAINMENT. Conceptually Relapse was brilliant. Not many artist can tell stories like he did on that CD. You said he wasn’t saying much? What you want him to say? He slang drugs? Drive maybachs? Then he would be on some Rick Ross shit. I have a easier time believing that with his sick mind he was a druggie more than i would believe he was selling rocks like all the other rappers in the word talk about. Relapse is probably the most artistic album to come out this year.
