Ice-T returns to the big screen alongside Chris Rock in the documentary, Good Hair, according to Variety.

The film, produced and co-written by Rock, documents black hair culture. The comedian pursued the project after one of his daughter’s tearfully asked him, “Daddy, how come I don’t have good hair?”

In January, Good Hair debuted at Sundance Film Festival, winning the Special Jury Prize in the process. Others who will appear in the documentary, offering up their testimonials include such luminaries as Maya Angelou and Rev. Al Sharpton.

This is not the first time the two have worked together. They first teamed up for 1993’s CB4– Devin Chanda
