Lil Wayne & Jim Jones To Invade MTV’s Spring Break

For their annual Spring Break programming, MTV is hitting Panama City Beach, Florida with performances from some of the game’s biggest names.

Airing from March 23 to April 5, MTV’s lineup will include “Rock The Deuce” featuring a performance from a guitar strapped Lil Wayne, as well as the hip-hop staple “Sucker Free,” which will have performances by Jim Jones, Flo Rida and XXL Freshman Asher Roth.

All four of the featured rappers have album releases looming. Jones’ highly anticipated Pray IV Reign hits stores on March 24th, with Flo Rida’s sophomore effort R.O.O.T.S. arriving on shelves a week later. Roth is scheduled to drop his debut Asleep In The Bread Aisle on April 21st and Weezy’s rock foray Rebirth is scheduled for a May 19 release.- Devin Chanda

the best mtv spring break performance ever is tribe and l.o.n.s doing scenario..that same year they had naughty and cypress hill performing too.. now if jimmy bring cam out and weezy bring the hot boys then i might be impressed..other than that these 2 dudes is straight boring onstage.

    Crap, crap, and more crap!

I’ve got some better artists below that we could put up on stage… I forgot.. it’s MTV- the channel that doesn’t play good music! Actually they don’t play music at all anymore do they?

MTV must have put a lot of TIME and EFFORT into the evaluation of the most talented stage artists out there! Asher Roth, no real stage experience. Lil Wayne, crap lyrics, but only knows the stage because he was in the game for almost 15 years..
