Cormega Returns With New Album, Throws Live Listening Party

Queensbridge emcee Cormega is set to unveil his first solo album in 7 years, Born & Raised, at a listening party in New York City on April 8.

The original Firm member promises that surprise performers will be hitting the stage of S.O.B.’s during the party, of which may include invited guests such as hip-hop staples DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Easy Mo Bee, Havoc, and Lil’ Fame.

As Mega revealed in a statement, ’09 may prove to be an unusually busy year for him, with the rapper saying, “I’m also working on a Legal Hustle Volume 2 soon after [Born & Raised]. It’s going to be a lot of work, but I can just hope my fans are with me and that they support the digital sale of the album. You’ll be hearing from me in 2009, I’m going to make up for all the years I was gone.”- Devin Chanda
