MF DOOM Re-“Born,” Links With Ghostface, Raekwon & J Dilla For New Disc

Indie favorite MF DOOM is back, as it was recently announced that his highly anticipated third official solo album, Born Into This, is dropping next month.

Dropping the MF moniker this go around, DOOM hasn’t put out a solo set since 2004’s critically acclaimed MM Food. The self-proclaimed “masked super villain” will be releasing the disc on March 24th via UK-based label LEX records.

Linking with a small group of past collaborators like Ghostface Killah, Raekwon the Chef, the late J DIlla and Kurious Jorge, Born Into This sonically picks up where DOOM left off.

While the underground rapper hasn’t dropped a solo CD in the last couple of years he has put out several collaboration projects with Grammy-award-winning producer Danger Mouse as DANGERDOOM, a remix project with Madlib (MADVILLAINY 2), as well as singles with producer Jake One, Dilla and Ghostface. The rumored full-length project with Ghost has yet to be released. – Elan Mancini

    Okay I a little confuesed by this title where it says “links with a couple of no name rappers and a dead producer”.

    How the fuck is he going to colab with a dead nigga? Hopefully wack ass Mf Doom will kill himself, find J Dilla in hell, and . . . that’s it . . . I just want MF Doom to kill himself

      HMMM HOW THE FUCK CAN HE HAVE WORKED WITH A ‘DEAD GUY’(rip)???? his last cds were recorded in ’04, dilla died in ’06, theres 2 years time to work on a song.

    Should be a fresh breeze of creativity when it drops. I think MF Doom is pretty dope, with production that is cinematic, taking you through TV Land and your ole favorite Saturday morning cartoons. Yung Tweezy is right, his work on Fishscale and More Fish is the shid. Madvillainy is a banga and DangerDoom is funny as hell. I’m buying.
