Rocko Hit With Jail Time For Assaulting Woman

Atlanta rapper Rocko was sentenced to 48 hours behind bars for an incident that occurred in February of ‘07.

Rocko, who is currently engaged to R&B singer Monica, plead no contest to battery charges earlier today according to WBSTV.com. A DeKalb county solicitor says the “Umma Do Me” rapper assaulted a woman in an ATL club with enough force to give her a black eye and cause injuries to her face.

In addition to the short jail stint, the Def Jam rapper will be on probation for a year and have to perform community service. – Elan Mancini
