BET announced today plans to premiere a new series that finds celebrities playing tricks on their biggest supporters.

Titled "Played By Fame,” the show follows fans as they think they are getting invited to spend a day with their favorite artists, only to hit by a series of pranks.

The program will feature a slew of rappers including Ludacris, Young Buck, E-40 and Fonzworth Bentley. Other artists slated to join in on the fun is producer Jazze Pha, comedian Charlie Murphy, actor Kevin Hart, video vixen Mellyssa Ford, singer Bobby Brown and R&B crooner Mario, among others.

"Played By Fire" is slated to debut on January 30 at 10 p.m. EST on BET. – Elan Mancini
