Jay-Z Plans D.C. Concert On Eve Of Obama Inauguration

Avid Obama supporter Jay-Z is headed to Washington, D.C. later this month to perform on the eve of the President-elect’s inauguration ceremony.

The Baltimore Sun reports that the Brooklyn MC will be rocking the Warner Theatre on January 19 along with a live band. Tickets for the show, sponsored by Hov’s business partners, Live Nation, will go on sale this Friday (1/9) at 10 a.m.

As previously reported Jay has been a major advocate for Barack Obama’s election, publicly endorsing the former Illinois senator and throwing a handful of election rally concerts throughout the country. – Elan Mancini
