Suge Knight Cleared Of Battery And Drug Charges

Due to a lack of witnesses, prosecutors decided to toss Suge Knight’s most recent battery and drug charges, according to TMZ. As previously reported, Knight allegedly assaulted his longtime girlfriend Melissa Isaac by punching her in the back of the head while driving.

Prosecutors opted to drop the case even after the judge said the case could go forward without witnesses. Knight praised his two lawyers, David Chesnof and Richard Schonfeld, then told reporters, “God is good…Happy holydays.” Prosecutors now plan to take the case to a grand jury. -Michael Cohen
