Earlier this morning Hosea Thomas - the man who was found guilty last month of murdering T.I.’s close friend and personal assistant Philant Johnson - was sentenced to 66 years behind bars.

According to the Associated Press, Thomas, who was also found guilty of felonious assault and illegal possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, will not be up for parole until 2074.

As XXLmag.com previously reported, T.I., who was with Johnson at the time of his death, took the stand during the trial detailing the night of the shooting.

Despite Tip’s testimony, Thomas’ brother Pardon turned out to be the prosecution’s star witness, as he testified against Hosea.
