Champagne lovers won't be popping Lil Wayne's bottles anytime soon. has learned that Weezy has put an indefinite hold on introducing his Halo Champagne. Sources told XXL Wayne didn't think it safe to release Halo due to the country's struggling economy. As previously reported, Wayne partnered with Milestone Brands and Voirin-Jumeh to create Halo Champagne earlier this summer. The champagne was slated to hit stores by year's end.

“I’m excited about this venture with Milestone Brands," Weezy stated at the time. "Champagne is for celebrating. There are so many different business opportunities…I want to take advantage of it all. I’m ready to put my foot in a new door.”-Bruce Moses
