Lil Wayne continues to dominate 2009. The Cash Money rapper was nominated for seven Online Hip-Hop Awards, it was announced Monday. The lyricist was tapped in a number of categories, including Album of the Year Award, Artist of the Year Award, and the Off the Hook Award.

Jay-Z was also nominated in a number of categories for American Gangster. The former Def Jam prez received nods for Album of the Year Award and Collabo of the Year Award, among others.

The Online Hip-Hop Awards, which are presented by Sohh.com, are returning after being absent for several years.

New categories for the 2008 edition include the Artist to Watch Award, King of the Net, and a slew of Web-based categories, of which Diddy was nominated for Vlog of the Year Award.

"Your boy has been nominated for an Online Hip-Hop Award," Diddy said in a statement. "I've been nominated for 'King of the Net.' It's crazy. Thank you to everybody that has logged on to the Diddy blogs, Diddy TV, and my MySpace page, Diddy.com. I'm always online. I walk around with my laptop. You know, it's the king of the net."
