Jay-Z To Perform For Voter Registration Drive

Jay-Z is scheduled to perform in Detroit, Michigan over the weekend as a part of a voter registration drive sponsored in part by the Obama for America.

The deadline for new voters to register in Michigan is approaching on Monday, October 6. As part of its outreach, Obama for America, the committee behind U.S. Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign, is setting up shop in Detroit.

The show is free for anyone who registers to vote. Participants will receive a free ticket to the Jay-Z show later than evening. The live performance will take place at 7PM at the Cobo Arena in Detroit.
