Jay-Z Cans Second Obama Registration Show Due To Illness

Jay-Z was forced to cancel a free show he was doing in support of Barack Obama that rewarded newly registered voters after coming down with an illness

The rapper was “sick,” according for a spokesman for the Obama campaign that spoke with MTV.

No specific information was given, however, reports have circulated that Jay-Z had a sore throat.

The nature of the performance was to encourage people to register to vote in time for next month’s presidential election.

Over the weekend Jay-Z and Wyclef performed in Miami and Detroit. But the third of the three shows didn’t take place. Rick Ross and ‘Clef was scheduled to perform during the third show, as well.
