Lil Wayne Skips Fashion Rocks Show, Performs At Hip-Hop Honors and Diddy Doesn’t Own A Private Jet In “The Roundup”

Lil Wayne reportedly decided to not perform at Fashion Rocks in NYC when he learned he would have to go through security. “When Lil Wayne showed up to perform in the show – and he showed up on time – he was carrying a bag and refused, point blank, to go through security,” a security person told the New York Post. “Everyone else – including Rihanna, Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Kid Rock and – went through security, and we couldn’t make an exception. He’s obviously not a Boy Scout and has a history with drugs and guns.” Weezy eventually left, but his management later called in, begging for Weezy to get his spot back. Fashion Rocks organizers agreed, but Wayne didn’t make it back to the venue in time. [NY Post]

Diddy apparently isn’t that fly. Just last week, the mogul announced that he’d quit flying on his private plane because fuel had become too expensive. The only thing is, Diddy apparently doesn’t have a private jet. According to the PalmBeach Post, federal records show there are no private planes registered under Sean Combs. [PalmBeachPost]
