DMX Jailed in Arizona

DMX was extradited from Florida yesterday by authorities and jailed in Arizona on an outstanding warrant, according to E! online.

The rapper recently plead guilty in Miami to drug posession and sentenced to time served and fined. Officials in Arizona then had 15 business days to obtain DMX or he would have been able to leave the state of Florida.

The former Ruff Ryders star was nabbed for failing to appear in court last month. He’s currently in police custody and is being held on a $25,000 bond.

DMX is facing 11 charges of animal cruelty and drug possession in Arizona. The rapper’s home was raided by police and the bodies of neglected dogs were found throughout the home. X has been arrested a number of times in the past year on a series of charges in Arizona and Floria.—Anthony Thomas

  • Supreemwun

I like X but he need to get his Shhh together. Quite obvious he needs to take some responsibility for his own actions. I think he did a great job with the prayers on The Games LAX but damn how about trying to live by some of those words. So until then X is no different than some of these hypocrite Revs at the local church. They stay gettin’ money but at what cost? What is the price for a soul?

  • Trainwreck

They dont call him Crack Man X for nothing. His stupid ass was buying drugs from an undercover brother. Dont he have boys for that shit.

This is not on any new shit, this is just a continuation of all of his charges. Hopefully he will use this time to create a productive plan of action, for when this is all behind him. By “productive plan of action” I dont mean a plan on how to find and smoke the worlds biggest rock.

Well whoever is controlling his myspace added me, and I’d say a lot of others with the outlook of a new album soon. I hope it is good but ya never know, what happened to Ja after he released the mirror? Come backs don’t really work too well unless you don’t really leave or don’t come out with an album each year. Take DR Dre for example, he has put out 2 albums, excluding the firm and presents.. The Chronic was the Shiznit, 2001 was even better. Thats 2 albums and he isn’t considered to be gone. X had some real good stuff but if he did the same thing today under a different name I wreckon it wouldn’t get much further than Myspace.

  • Mr KCMO

there is nothing new at all with this dude. he is classically institutionalized. wasn’t he raised in foster homes or under state supervision? he has no idea how to function as a free thinking individual. its time to give him all his dreams and lock him up… a dog pound and throw away the key.

  • lostgyrl
