Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana Added To Hip-Hop Honors Mix

Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana are among the many names that have been added to appear at the 2008 "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors" showcase.

In addition, Cee-Lo, Chuck D, Gym Class Heroes and actors Sanaa Lathan and Michael Rapaport are scheduled to attend.

The main honorees, as previously announced, include Slick Rick, De La Soul, Cypress Hill, Too $hort, and Naughty by Nature. Tracy Morgan is set to return as host. Lil Wayne and Big Boi are among those who will perform.

The fifth annual telecast of "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors" will premiere Monday, October 6 on VH1 and VH1 Soul. The full stream of the show will then be available on hiphop.vh1.com the following day. Taping for "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors" takes place Thursday, October 2 in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom.---LaTisha Robbins
