Yung Joc has learned from Diddy and Russell "Block" Spencer, head of the rapper's recording home, Block Entertainment. Joc is now following in the footsteps of the two moguls by putting out his own group, the Chicago trio Hot Stylz.

The upstart crew is signed to Joc's label Swagg Team through Jive Records.

Their breaout hit, "Lookin' Boy," is getting noticed for his stylish video clip and its unusual verses, which are a series of each member--and Joc, too--

"That's the way of life in Chicago," member Raydio G told MTV News. "It's called roasting, gunning, different names. But it's a tradition. We wanted to express it to the world."

Hot Stylz album, Yo Momma Got a Mustache, is due in August.

Joc, is also reading his next project, his third album, Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, which should see the light of day by the fall, he said.

In the meantime, Joc is busy with legal matters.

The rapper is due in court today (July 14) regarding a dispute over service rendered for high-end stereo equipment.

A company by the name of Stereotypes claims Joc did not pay for installation services totaling up to $25, 000.---LaTisha Robbins
