Lil Wayne has a habit of saying some pretty outrageous things, on records and in interviews alike. So when he went on a rant about mixtape DJs, folks didn’t take too kind to it. One in particular with The Carolina King, Chuck T. The Southern record spinner blasted Weezy in an e-mail post and leaked Tha Cater III in retaliation. Wayne, however, said: “It harms me in no way, first of all, I am good music. Bootlegged or not, what you just heard, or what you will hear, is great.” [Newsweek]

Busta Rhymes’ Blessed album has been pushed back a few weeks, according to the rapper, in order to clear some samples used on the project. The anticipated LP was set to be released July 1 but now the date has been switched to an undetermined one in August. “We just pushed the album about six to eight weeks because we having a little issue with two samples that I’m about 85 percent away from getting cleared,” Busta explained. “I don’t wanna change the songs because it’ll change the feel of the [album].
