Nick Cannon And Mariah Carey Tie The Knot In “Impulsive” Ceremony

Mariah Carey is now known as Mrs. Nick Cannon, according to Latina. The magazine’s Web site is reporting the two entertainers wed yesterday in a “very impulsive” ceremony, a source said. Rumors regarding Cannon and Carey have swirled recently as the singer donned a large diamond engagement ring on her finger. Cannon dodged questions about the couple earlier this week in an interview with MTV News. But a family member of his confirmed to E! online that Cannon has made an honest woman out of Carey. “He called us and told us all about it,” Linda Cannon said. “We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.” The sometime rapper skirted around inquiries regarding a romance and only called Carey a “good friend.” Cannon directed the video for her single “Bye Bye,” featuring Jay-Z. According to reports, that’s how the two met and began their courtship. Da Brat was reportedly on hand for the nuptials.
