Mother of Luke’s Adult Daughter Seeks Unpaid Child Support

The mother of Luther “Luke” Campbell’s 20 year-old daughter Lutheria has asked that the rapper and entrepreneur’s driver’s license be suspended over nearly $39,000 in unpaid child support. According to the Miami Herald, Davania Branch Burns feels she is entitled to the money, even though her daughter is no longer a minor. “We want him to stand up and not be a deadbeat daddy,” she said. “He needs to do the right thing. He needs to take care of his child. Why should he not pay? The ordinary working man has to pay.” Under Florida law, any person owning child support can have their driver’s license suspended. Burns has asked for a hearing before Circuit Court Judge Joel Brown. The Herald was unable to reach Luke for comment.
