D4L’s Fabo Cleared of Drug & Weapons Charges
Fabo of Atlanta based group D4L was recently cleared on drug and weapons possession charges when the his co-defendant in the case decided to take the rap. According to the Courier Herald, Fabo—whose real name is Lafabian Williams—was hit with charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methylenedioxymetham, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after he was stopped by police on February 2, 2006 while traveling on I-16 in Laurens County, GA. But when his associate Curtis Alfonso Watkins, Jr., recently plead guilty to the drug and weapons charges, prosecutors decided to drop their charges against the “Laffy Taffy” star. Watkins was sentenced to 15 years probation and will be required to pay $3700 in fines and court fees.
