A witness in the Remy Ma assault trial testified on Thursday (March 13) that she was drunk at the time of the incident and didn’t see the rapper shoot Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the abdomen. According to the New York Post, Krystal Bolton is now the third witness that has asserted that they did not see the rapper with a gun. “I don’t recall seeing her at all,” Bolton, an aspiring rapper, told the judge. “I just remember a light flashing and me running to [the victim] on the ground.” On Tuesday, student Oluwole Ajudun told the court that he saw Remy get into Barnes-Joseph’s car with a .45 caliber pistol and moments later heard the pop of a gun shot and saw Remy exit the vehicle. Barnes-Joseph is expected to testify today.
