Rick Ross is Trilla Than Snoop & Fat Joe, Debuts at No. 1

Rick Ross has the highest selling album in the country this week with his sophomore set Trilla, which scanned just under 199,000 copies and will land at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. Powered by his T-Pain assisted single “Boss,” the Carol City native managed to outsell the latest installment in the notoriously popular NOW That’s What I Call Music compilation series by nearly 20,000 units. Next up we have Snoop Dogg’s latest project, Ego Trippin. With help from his smash single “Sensual Seduction,” the Doggfather moved nearly 137,000 and will take the No. 3 spot. Rounding out last week’s rap debuts is Fat Joe with his eighth solo album, The Elephant in the Room, which moved about 46,200 discs and will land at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200.

    TRILLA is a good album. The difference between ROSS and SNOOP was the guest appearances. SNOOP has TOO Short and Fabby on the album….thats it! ROSS has a gang of fools on the album. It makes the album flow tighter when you have other artists on your shit.

I say that not to imply that KRS is the inferior rapper, but to say no one (save for a few stans stuck in hip hop time continuum mode) is really interested in hearing this guy anymore. And Rick Ross boring? Please, KRS recently became the Governor of Boring State.

    Rick Ross is a Bitch.His music SUCKS. that shit is fuckin retarded.

    Snoop Dogg’s music on the other hand I thought would have sold WAY more. Especially Considering his reality show, which i thought would have boosted sales. But i guess they didnt. Snoops album I bought, but i think it was good, but not great. I thought that song “My Medicine” SUCKED, but the songs “Staxxx In My Jeans” and “Life Of The Party” and a couple more songs were Really Good.

    Fat Joe’s album, which I just illegally downloaded, had basically like 3 Songs i liked. “300 Brolic” “The Crack House” feat. Lil Wayne,and ESPECIALLY “My Conscience” feat. KRS One. but the rest was crap.

    speaking of new albums…

    Jim Jones album was almost all rich sounding garbage except the only song i like was “Don’t Love Me No More”
    The rest i didnt like. And His last album I loved though, so this was a disappointment.

    Flo Rida’s album was…ok…mostly just songs about women, but it Low and Elevator was good songs…..
